CECEP Chairman Song Xin inspected the company’s targeted poverty alleviation work in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County in southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 13 and 14.

During the trip, Song attended the unveiling ceremony for a CECEP-funded factory providing jobs for rural poor in Hengshan Community of Gucheng Town in Fuchuan. He also went to check the drinkable water projects in two villages, projects of rural infrastructure improvement, primary school building renovation and a township medical facility renovation, as well as an intelligent primary-level medical service project, all funded by CECEP. Song also visited impoverished households in Fuchuan. 

Fuchuan has shaken off poverty. “It is not the end, but a start of a new life and new endeavor,” Song said, adding that CECEP would continue its support to the county through industrial development, consumption and education.
